What Is the Biochar Initiative?

After spending two years stopping major sources of pollution and farm runoff from entering the lake, our next phase is to begin removing the pollutants that have already infiltrated it.  ​

This multi-year program is designed to improve water quality in all areas of Paw Paw Lake using an all natural, chemical-free carbon material: Biochar.
